Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) is a specialized treatment program designed to address the needs of individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Both adults and youth can receive IDDT.
Comprehensive Healthcare’s IDDT program involves case managers, certified substance use professionals, counselors, therapists, nurses, a designated crisis response professional, and a psychiatrist or prescriber. Throughout the program, clients receive a coordinated treatment approach that addresses all symptoms and experiences related to their specific co-occurring mental health and the substance use disorders. Our goal is to successfully treat clients without gaps in care or inconsistencies among treatment service providers.
Case Management
Clients engaged in IDDT programs are assigned to case management services that are individualized for their specific needs. Services may involve providing crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and care advocacy.
Case managers can also assist, or support clients with accessing financial resources, housing, food, employment, or transportation, and provide social and living skills education for day-to-day activities, helping clients remain in their community.
