The Adult Mental Health First Aid training teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This free online event is taking place on July 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
First Aiders will complete a 2-hour, self-paced online course, and then participate in a 4.5 to 5.5-hour, Instructor-led videoconference.
The deadline to register is July 14.
To register, please email MHFA@comphc.org, and include your name and phone number.
