Unfortunately, we are not a group of individuals who can harness the powers of The Force. The Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee at Comprehensive Healthcare is focused on promoting to our staff, clients, and our community partners, a person-centered, trauma-informed environment which supports our agency’s values and respects every individuals’ uniqueness. We hope to build a culture of care, building relationships on trust, mutual respect, and a safe environment for all.
We are a committee based on action. We don’t just want to talk about it, we make it happen. The work that we will be doing includes helping promote the integration of trauma informed principles, developing and proposing recommendations to organization leaders, and planning activities to achieve the goal of creating a safer, more diverse, and inclusive work and care environment.
We believe that we can make Comprehensive Healthcare a safe place for individuals of all walks of life.
