Two Comprehensive Healthcare leaders were recognized June 6th for their outstanding commitment to community service.
CEO Jodi Daly, PhD, and Field Response Team Program Manager Jennifer Trevino were selected as this year’s recipients of the Sgt. Joe Deccio Healthcare and First Responders Community Service Award. The award was presented at the Yakima Mile event on Saturday, June 6th.
Jodi was recognized for her leadership in building Comprehensive Healthcare’s partnership with Camp Hope – including the development of the on-site behavioral health center and compassion cabins, which bring critical mental health support directly to some of our region’s most vulnerable community members. Her vision has helped transform what’s possible for people experiencing homelessness in Yakima.
Jennifer was honored for her work leading the Field Response Team, a program that pairs behavioral health professionals with law enforcement officers to respond to emergency and crisis calls together. By meeting people in crisis where they are – with both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach – Jennifer and her team are changing how Yakima County responds to behavioral health emergencies.
The Sgt. Joe Deccio Award recognizes healthcare workers and first responders who go above and beyond in service to their community. Jodi and Jennifer exemplify that spirt and this recognition reflects their dedication as well as the hard work of the teams behind them.
