Comprehensive Healthcare welcomed Yakima families to Franklin Park on Saturday, October 10, for its Better Together Family Fall Festival. Besides fun for the whole family, the event gave the community a chance to get to know the organization and learn about the behavioral health resources available close to home.
Cassidy Brown, marketing director at Comprehensive Healthcare, spoke with TriYakNews about the event. She shared that while Comprehensive Healthcare has been part of the Yakima community for a long time, many people don’t learn about the organization until they need care, and the festival offered a lighthearted way to change that.
Teams from across Comprehensive Healthcare hosted information tables where families could learn about mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Cassidy emphasized that knowing about local resources ahead of time makes it easier for people to find support when they need it.
